Valladolid (Zero Day)
Today Was an uneventful day as I decided to have a Zero Day and stay at the hotel and catch up on some rest and give my feet time to heal.
I got in so late yesterday, and because the restaurants at the hotel, and across Spain, don’t start serving until 9:00 pm, I didn’t get done with dinner until after eleven. I also told myself I wouldn’t be in a hurry and not push myself since I am not in the best condition, and my knee of course.
I also wanted to get some food for the day, and today is Sunday and all the stores are closed. It is also a three day, First Communion, holiday that started on Friday.
I went to the only store open, which was the Shell gas station a half mile away, and they had nothing but sodas and junk food.
I washed my clothes and just lounged around and it felt good. The trouble is that the hotel is so nice, and very reasonable, that I could get spoiled and stay another day. No, then it would be even harder to get going.
As always, please excuse the typos, grammar, and spelling, etc., because I am writing this on my phone and don’t always review it.
Best wishes to all,
Ted

Day of rest.
I love the positive spin you put on things. I do prefer that coincidences are really God planned events for something to happen if not to me than to so n so. I love just doing the next indicated thing like you getting yourself up and going when ya wanna lay n lounge. Take care of you.

Ok. I’m caught up I think after I “binge watched” your trip all tonight while sitting in the hallway hearing girls voices laugh and cuss lol (at work) and now that you are having a zero day, I’m gonna zero in on sleep for the night. Take care Ted.
